In 2019, a group of dedicated and visionary women from the Beechtree community in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, united around a shared purpose: to uplift, empower, and serve the women and young girls in our community.
From that shared vision, Women of Beechtree, Limited was born. What began as a simple idea fueled by passion and purpose has grown into a thriving organization committed to making a lasting impact through service. Today, Women of Beechtree, Limited is proud to be recognized as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
More than an organization, we are a sisterhood built on compassion, service, leadership, and a steadfast belief in the power of community. Every initiative we undertake reflects our commitment to creating opportunities, supporting families, and inspiring future generations.
Our Impact
Since our founding, Women of Beechtree, Limited has proudly hosted a variety of programs and events that advance our mission and strengthen our community. These initiatives include:
Finding Your Voice – A two-day leadership workshop for young girls focused on building self-confidence, critical thinking, public speaking, and leadership skills.
Community Donation Drives – Collecting and distributing essential toiletries and personal care items for women and families residing in local shelters.
Mother’s Day Community Appreciation – Honoring the mothers in our community through complimentary gifts and expressions of appreciation.
Youth Engagement Events – Sponsoring roller skating outings and game nights that promote fun, fellowship, and positive social interaction.
Community Fitness Programs – Encouraging healthy lifestyles through line dancing and other group fitness activities.
Educational Seminars – Hosting informative workshops on self-care, estate planning, and college planning to empower individuals and families with valuable resources and knowledge.
